본 논문에서는 성경적 관점에서의 인간관을 살펴보면서 피상담자와 상담자의 책임 영역을 고찰하고자 한다. 그리고 세 가지 일반심리학 이론 가운데 정신분석학, 행동주의, 그리고 인간 중심 이론들의 인간관을 비교하면서 이에 대한 피상담자 및 상담자의 책임 영역을 함께 비교하게 된다. 첫 번째, 정신분석적 접근에서는 피상담자에게 있어 현재 문제의 책임이 과거 어린 시절의 경험으로부터 발생되었고, 이에 대한 인간의 직접적인 책임을 회피하는 결과를 수반하였다. 본 접근에서 상담자는 높은 학적 지식과 경험을 겸비한 ‘권위자’로서 피상담자를 대하는 위치에서 상담관계를 형성하게 된다. 두 번째, 행동주의 상담에서는 인간을 환경의 조절로 변화가 가능한 존재로 보았고, 이에 따라 피상담자는 습관의 변화를 통하여 치유되어질 수 있는 존재로 인식되어진다. 동시에 상담자는 이러한 변화를 일으킬 수 있는‘행동교정 기술자’로서 이론적 지식을 지닌‘지도자’의 위치에 서 있다. 세 번째, 인간 중심주의 상담에서는 다른 상담이론보다 상담자와 피상담자와의 관계를 중요시 여긴다. 상담관계가 원활히 이루어진다면 상담효과가 극대화된다는 전제 가운데, 상담자의 역할은 피상담자의 이야기를 무조건적으로 수용하고 받아 들이게 된다. 이 가운데 피상담자는 인간의 가능성을 최대한으로 존중하는 본 접근방식에 따라, 자신의 길을 찾아나가게 되며, 상담자는 그 결정이 어떠하든 받아들이게 된다. 마지막, 성경의 관점에서 볼 때, 인간은 하나님의 형상으로 태어난‘책임’있는 존재이다. 비록 타락으로 하나님의 이미지가 훼손 되었지만, 성령의 역사로 회복되어지는 인간관을 성경은 증거하기 때문에 피상담자는 자신의 마음의 선택에 따라 변화되어질 수 있다. 이를 위해 상담자는 상담의 주역인‘성령’의 도움을 힘입어 상담의 도구‘로서의 역할을 감당한다면 하나님의 영광을 위한 상담의 목적을 올바르게 시행할 수 있다.

In this article, the perspective on human beings from Biblical point of view is examined and a counselor and a counselee`s responsibility area is considered. And I compare the perspective on human beings of Psychoanalysis, Behaviorism, and Person-centered theories, which are general psychology, with each other. According to this, I also compare a counselor and a counselee`s responsibility area with each approach. Firstly, in Psychoanalytic approach, the experience of the counselee`s childhood caused his current problems. This results in avoiding the counselee`s direct responsibility of his current situation. The counselor in this approach is an `authority` who has extensive knowledge and experience. As an authority, the counselor builds relationship with his counselee. Secondly, in Behaviorism counseling, a human being is viewed as an existence who can be changed through environmental control. This means the counselee can be recognized as a being who can be cured by changing his bad habit. At the same time, the counselor is in a leader`s position as a `Behavior adjustment technician` with theoretical knowledge. Thirdly, in Person-centered counseling, the relationship between counselor and counselee is considered importantly than other counseling theories. The counselor`s role is accepting counselee`s story unconditionally on the assumption that smooth counseling relationship makes counseling effect maximized. This approach has a regard for limitless possibility of human beings. In the middle of this, the counselee can find his own way. Whatever decision he makes, the counselor accepts the counselee`s final decision. Lastly, from the biblical point of view, a human being is born with God`s image, at the same time. he is an existence with “responsibility”. Because of the depraved human being, God`s image ruined. However, the Bible verifies that the perspective on human beings restored with working of the Holy Spirit. So the counselee can be changed by his choice. For this, a counselor willingly takes his role as a tool of counseling with the help from `Holy Spirit`. Then he can carry out the purpose of counseling correctly for the glory of God.
