본 연구의 근본 취지는 오늘날 한국 교회 가정의 실태와 현황을 고찰하고 그에 대한 목회상담학적 대응 방향을 모색해보고자 하는데 있다. 날로 다원화되며 급변하는 이 시대의 상대적인 가치관과 조류가운데 한국의 가정은 총체적 위기 상황을 맞이하고 있다. 우울증, 자살, 각종 중독현상, 강도, 강간, 살인등의 강력범죄 등의 수많은 정신적, 사회적 병리 현상의 배후에 바로 한국 가정의 해체와 위기의 문제가 자리 잡고 있다. 그렇다면 한국 교회의 가정들의 현황은 어떠한가? 불행히도 한국 사회에 비춰지고 있는 한국 기독교 가정의 모습은 세속화된 일반 비기독교인 들의 가정과 확연히 구별되는 자신 만의 특별한 색깔과 향기를 드러내지 못하고 있다. 한국의 가정들은 빠른 속도로 진행되는 경제발전과 사회적 변동 속에서 많은 변화와 부작용을 경험하고 있다. 본 연구는 산업화와 급속한 핵가족화로 인한 정서적 지지기반의 약화, 정보화와 인터넷 문화의 물결이 가족 관계에 미치는 부정적 영향, 포스터 모더니즘과 상대주의적 가치관의 만연으로 인한 가정 해체 현상, 물질 만능과 성공지상주의의 영향으로 인한 가정의 황폐화 문제 등으로 부터 교회 가정들도 결코 자유롭지 못함을 보여준다. 이로 인해 교회 가정들에서도 비기독교 가정들이 겪고 있는 이혼, 우울증, 자살, 가정폭력 그리고 동성애에 이르기 까지 심각한 문제들이 발견된다. 본 논고에서는 이러한 작금의 한국 교회 가정의 문제에 대한 목회상담학적 대응방안을 마련하기 위해 목회자 혹은 교회 가정사역자들의 가정 사역에 대한 새로운 인식의 전환, 성경적 결혼관 가정관의 확립, 교회의 총체적전인 사역으로의 전환, 각 교회 가정의 구성원들에 대한 정서적 필요와 욕구에 대한 균형 잡힌 접근의 필요성에 대한 논의를 전개하였다. 필자는 본 연구를 통해 소위 ‘행복한 가정’을 궁극적 목적과 모토로 내세우는 가정이기주의적이고 정서지상주의를 표방하는 인간 중심적인 기독교 가정사역의 한계와 폐해를 지적한다. 그리고 교회의 가정 사역자들이 하나님께서 가정을 세우신 궁극적 목적에 따라 철저히 삼위 하나님의 능력을 의지함으로만 이 시대에 하나님이 원하시는 건강한 기독교 가정을 회복하고 바르게 세워 나갈 수 있음을 강조한다.
This study aims to analyze the situation and problems of the Korean Church Family and to propose some directions of the Christian Family Ministry, in a perspective of Pastoral Counseling. Due to a drastic and sudden social change, the Korean Family has been in the face of holistic crisis and the Korean Church Family has been no exception. With all its privileges and responsibilities, it seems that the Korean Church Family has been loosing its vivid and unique color. With the advent of industrial and postmodern society, nuclear family system, relative value system and achievement-oriented materialism have weakened the emotional support basis among the members of the Korean Church Family as well as the non-Christian Family. As a result, pathological phenomenons such as divorce, depression, suicide, family violence and even homosexuality have been easily founded amongst the Korean Church Family. In order to providing some directions of the Christian Family Ministry in a view point of Pastoral Counseling, this study attempts to propose renewing the paradigm of ministers for the Church Family ministry, establishing a biblical view of family, transition towards holistic healing and a balanced approach to meet the emotional need of the members of the Church Family. This study stresses the importance of the God-oriented Christian Family Ministry, while pointing out dangers of the man-oriented Christian Family Ministry focusing only on the selfish happiness of family neglect of the glory of God.
