인간의 관계 경험은 내적 대상으로 내면화의 과정을 거치는 경향이 있다. 그런데 이 내면화(internalization) 과정에서 기쁨, 불안 등의 정동이 결합해서 내면화된 대상 은 실제 외부 대상과 다른 특성을 보이게 될 수 있다. 한편, 내면화는 일단 형성이 되 면 실제 외부 대상과 별개로 그 자체로 독립되어서 인간 인식과 행동에 영향을 끼치 게 되기 때문에 건강한 내면화는 심리적 건강을 돕는다. 본 연구는 다음과 같이 논의 과정을 설명하려고 한다. 내면화에 대해서 도날드 페어베언(Donald Fairbairn)은 감당 하기 힘든 관계 경험이 내면화되며, ‘리비도적 자아’(libidinal ego)와 ‘반리비도적 자 아’(anti-libidinbal ego)라는 분리된 내면화가 ‘중심적 자아’(central ego)에 영향을 준 다고 말한다. 반면에 멜라니 클라인(Melanie Klein)은 모든 관계 경험이 내면화되며, 외부 대상을 부분적으로 내면화하는 ‘편집적 자리’(paranoid position)에서, 보다 다양 한 대상의 특성이 내면화로 발전하는 ‘우울적 자리’(depressive position)로 나아가는 것이 바람직하다고 말한다. 한편 윌리엄 제임스(William James)는 인간의 심리 상태를 ‘병든 영혼’(sick soul)과 ‘건강한 마음’(healthy mind)으로 나누어 설명하며, 하나님 임재 경험의 영향력을 통하 여 영혼의 힘을 기를 때에 건강한 심리를 얻게 된다고 말한다. 도날드 캡스(Donald Capps)는 제임스가 말하는 지속적 하나님 임재 경험을 ‘하나님 현존’(Presence of God)으로 묘사하며, 일반 심리치료가 줄 수 없는, 깊고 근원적인 평안을 주어서, 다양 한 심리적 어려움을 극복할 수 있게 된다고 주장한다. 마지막으로 논의와 관련된 사 례분석을 제시하려고 한다 .필자는 주로 문헌연구와 방법으로 위와 같은 관점을 통하 여 목회상담자는 내담자에게 일반 심리 치료보다 더욱 강력한 건강한 위로자라는 내 적 대상의 내면화를 도울 수 있다고 주장한다. 이런 경향의 내면화는 궁극적으로 이 런 내면화는 내담자로 하여금 건강한 심리를 갖도록 돕고, 궁극적으로 변함없이 위로 하시고 돌보시는 하나님 현존이라는 가장 건강하고 수준 높은 내면화를 경험하도록 이끈다.

By the way, through Internalized precess, internal objects are apt to take different traits from original outer objects, with combinations of emotions, such as joy or agitation. So healthy mind-leading internalization is very important, because once a certain internalization is made, it independently, affects man's recognitions and behaviors. I explain this study's viewpoint as following process. According to Donald Fairbairn, unbearable experiences are internalized as 'libidinal ego' or 'anti-libidinal ego', and they influence on central ego's state. But Melanie Klein explains that every experience is internalized, firstly as 'paranoid position'(in which outer objects are internalized with certain partial-trait-loaded internal object), secondly as 'depressive position'(in which outer objects are internalized with multi-faced internal objects). William James explains that human mind can be divided sick soul and healthy mind, and that healthy mind can be attained by raising soul power, through by supplying sustaining experience with inner-stay of the God. Donald Capps depicts such experience as the presence of God and he insists that it helps overcoming various inner sufferings, through deeper and more profounder peace and comfort than psychology does. And at the end of study, I suggest a case. I also use the methodology of text-reading analysis. In this point of view, pastoral counselors can help clients get healthier and stronger comforting internalization, more than psychology. Ultimately, this kind of internalization leads clients to experience the presence of God with pouring everlasting comfort.
