본 논고는 교회공동체에서의 어린이들의 시대적 문제에 상담목회는 어떻게 대응할 것이고, 상담목회의 한 가지 방법으로서 전화상담이 어떠한 도움이 되는지 제시한 것이다. 상담목회는 일반상담과는 달리 문제의 해결뿐 아니라 영혼의 구원에 까지 그 목적을 둔다. 이러한 상담목회의 한 방법으로 전화상담은 대면상담의 전 단계로서 그 필요성이 대두된다. 전화상담이 어린이를 위한 상담목회에 어떻게 활용될 수 있을까? 어린이들도 어른들처럼 여러 문제를 갖고 있는 연약한 존재이기에 교사나 목회자의 훈육이 절대적으로 필요하다. 어린이를 위한 전화상담에서 중요한 과정은 첫째, 신뢰감과 사랑을 가지고 관계를 맺는 것이다. 둘째, 문제에 대한 객관적인 자료를 분석하여 해석한다. 셋째, 성령의 인도하심을 구하면서 권면하여 변화시키는 것이다. 여기서 중요한 것은 교사와 목회자는 이러한 상담목회를 통해 어린이를‘인간중심의 세계관에서 하나님중심의 세계관’으로 변화시켜 하나님의 영광을 위해 살아가게 도와주어야 한다는 것이다.
This paper is to check how the pastoral care through counseling deals with children`s current problems in church and how telephone counseling, one of the ways of the pastoral counseling, works. Unlike other general counselings, the pastoral counseling aims not only at the solutions to the problems but also at the salvation of the spirit. The telephone-counseling is needed as the previous step for face-to-face counseling. Because the phone-counseling has less restraints of time and place to meet, it can be a good medium to improve the satisfaction of the talk to modern people who complain about the shortage of their time and the infringement on their privacy. It needs the work of God`s words because the Holy Spirit leads to the healing and change of the problems. Therefore, the church teachers and pastors must have the spiritual balance to get the Spirit`s illumination through the Bible and prayer at phone-counseling. How can the phone-counseling be used for the pastoral counseling of children? Like adults, children are susceptible to many problems and so they absolutely need the discipline of the teachers and pastors. The important process of the phone-counseling for children is : First, to have trust and love between each other. Second, to analyze and interpret the relative data of the problems. Third, to encourage and pray to God for spiritual lead. The important thing here is that the teachers and pastors should change the children from human-centered global view to God-centered one through the pastoral counseling and help them to live for the glory of the God. One more important thing in phone-counseling is to use good words. These can sometimes work : the emotional words that bring happiness, the ones that open mind, the indirect that give good impression and change, and the touching cell phone text message. Besides the good interests of phone counseling, it has many limits to mutual trust because it is made of words only. In conclusion, the phonecounseling will be able to work at best when it is used together with the face-to-face counseling properly according to the circumstances of the counseling.
