미래의 사회가 어떻게 달라질지 정확히 진단한다는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 성경적 상담이 실천학문이기는 하지만 학문적 방향의 미래를 논하는 것이 쉽지는 않다. 변화 되고 있는 상황의 첫째는, 시대가 변화하고 있다는 것이다. 둘째로, 세계화이다. 세 번째는 전문화이다. 예측에 따른 대안으로 시대의 변화에 대한 포스트모던적 사고는 오히려 복음에 대한 갈급한 사상적 몸부림으로 보고 성경적 상담을 하는 사람들은 직장과 일터에서 선교적 사명감을 가지고 살아야하며 영적으로 성장하려는 의지를 가지고 있어야 한다. 이러한 급박한 수요에 따른 각 상담 학회마다의 대처방안은 자격증 교부 및 자격제도를 위한 교육을 통하여 상담 영역을 확대시키는 것이다. 인터넷 사회의 장점들을 살려 온라인 서비스를 개설하고 장소적, 시간적 제약의 문제를 풀어야 한다.

Diagnosing exactly how society of future will be changed is awfully difficult, despite religious counseling practice study, it is uneasy to discuss future of academic way. First of changing situation is that times are altering. Next thing is globalization. Third is specialization. Alternative for following prediction, we have to see the sort of postmodernism thought as ardent ideological struggle rather. Each counsel academy`s plan goes after these pressing needs is expanding an advice territory through a education for issue of license and certification system. we are called on to establish an online service with reflecting pluses in society of internet and resolve a problem of place and temporal limitation.
