이 글에서는 목회현장에서 성과 관련된 상담을 어떻게 다룰 것인가를 다뤘다. 이른 바 성 상담이라고 할 수 있는데, 그 가운데 부부와 관련된 성 문제를 그 범위로 하였다. 이 글에서 다룬 내용은 성에 대한 성격적 이해를 시작으로 하여, 성 문제의 원인과 목회상담에 있어서 성 문제 상담의 한계성을 논하였다. 즉 우리나라의 문화 환경이 주는 목회자와 일반 신자간의 관계성이 성 문제 상담에 어떻게 반영되고 있는지와 그것이 효과적인 상담에 어떻게 걸림돌이 되는지를 살펴봤다. 특히 이 논문에서는 부부의 섹스리스가 원만한 부부 관계에 얼마나 중요한 요소인지를 강조함으로써 목회현장에서의 성 문제 상담에서 착안해야 할 점을 제시하였다.
The paper deals with the way the counseling of sexuality in pastoral care. It is sort of sex counseling and is focused on the problems in conjugal relations. This paper is based on biblical understanding of sex, and discusses the reasons and limitations of sex counseling through pastoral counseling. It also deals with how the relations between pastor and common member of church are reflected in sex counseling, in the situation of our country. The paper especially points out the importance of sexlessness for positive conjugal relations, and suggests the essential factors that we must consider in sex counseling in pastoral care.
