요즘 대부분의 많은 청소년들은 급변하는 사회 속에서 어떤 진로를 결정할 것인가에 대해서 고민하며 갈등하고 있다. 즉, 우리나라 청소년들은 여러 가지 복잡하고 다양한 사회 환경 속에서 어떻게 살아갈 것이며, 어떤 길을 걸어 가야할 것인가에 대해서 고민하기는 하지만, 뚜렷하며 정확한 자기 자신의 진로가 무엇인지 몰라서 방황하며 불안해하는 모습을 보게 된다. 이러한 고민은 그리스도인 청소년에게도 해당되는 문제로 이들은 세상 사람들과 똑같은 가치관과 삶의 목적에 따라 진로를 결정하고 있다. 그러나 그리스도인 청소년들은 세상의 기준과는 다른 성경적 자아정체성과 성경적 직업가치관, 소명에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 하나님의 뜻과 계획에 따라 자신의 진로를 결정할 수 있어야 한다. 그러므로 본 연구자는 먼저, 청소년 진로결정에 대한 이해를 위해서 일반적인 관점과 성경적인 관점으로 나누어 살펴보면서 청소년이 어떤 일로 부르심을 받기 전에 어떤 분에게로 부르심을 받았다는 것을 알고, 그 부르심에 합당하게 하나님의 나라와 영광을 위해 자신의 진로를 결정하여야 함을 강조하였다. 그리고 청소년 진로결정을 위한 성경적 관점으로 성경적 자아정체성과 직업가치관, 소명에 대한 연구를 통해 이에 대한 이해의 중요성을 인식해야 한다고 주장하였다. 또한, 청소년 진로결정을 위한 성경적 상담의 적용에서는 성경적 상담의 기본원리를 제시하였으며, 성경적 상담 방법으로는 Paul Tripp의 LOVE(내담자와의 관계 형성 및 격려), KNOW(내담자의 문제에 대한 자료수집과 분석), SPEAK(직면-사랑으로 진리 말하기), DO(진리를 삶에 적용하기)의 모델을 실제 상담사례에 적용하였다. 마지막으로 청소년 진로결정을 위한 성경적 상담 사례 연구에서는 중학교 2학년 여학생과 대학교 2학년 여학생의 실제 상담사례를 다루었다.

ABSTRACT

Biblical counseling for Adolescent Career decision

Most of adolescents are worrying about their career decision in rapidly changing society. That is, Korean adolescent are worrying about how they could live and which direction they could choose in complicated social environment, but they look nervous as wondering which career is definite and suitable to them. Such problems are also corresponding to Christian adolescents, who are deciding their careers based on the same value and purpose of life as the other people. Christian adolescents, however, have to decide according to God's will and plan, based on understanding of biblical identity, biblical occupational value and calling, which are different from the universal standard.

Accordingly, this study examined adolescent's career decision from a general viewpoint and a biblical one, and stressed that adolescents have to know that they were called by God, before being called for something, and decide their careers for God's country and glory, properly for the call. In addition, this study asserted that it is important to understand biblical identity and occupational value and calling for adolescent's career decision, from a biblical viewpoint. In application of biblical counseling for adolescent's career decision, the basic principle of the counseling was suggested. In terms of a biblical counseling method, a model of Paul Tripp's LOVE (relationship with clients and encouragement), KNOW (data collection and analysis regarding client's problems), SPEAK (face to face-speaking about truth with love), DO (applying truth to life) was applied to an actual case of counseling. Finally, a case study on biblical counseling for adolescent's career decision contained some actual cases of counseling intended for a female 2nd grader in a middle school and a female sophomore in a college.
